How do I add a new cardholder?

You can recruit up to nine new members to your account, which is nine more opportunities to boost your points – without breaking a sweat. So round up your family and friends because as they say, many hands make light work. Here’s the scoop.

Step 1
Sign in to your Flybuys account on the website or app.

Step 2
If you’re on the website, click on your name on the top right-hand side of the page. In the drop-down, select ‘Account Details’. If you’re using the app, go to the Account section on the top right hand corner, and select “Add a member”.

Step 3
Click the option to ‘Add a new member’. (By the way, this is also a good time to check all your account details are correct, and make sure your address is up to date.)

Step 4
A pop-up will give you the option to generate a link. Go ahead and click the button. This will create a unique invitation link that’s connected to your account.

Step 5

Share your unique invitation link with your family or friends. The more the merrier! You can automatically send it to them via email from the page or copy the link and share it in your group chat or text. Just make sure they know that they need to click the link you’ve sent them to sign up to Flybuys and be automatically connected to your account.

You might also want to chat about the joint goal for all the points you’re going to collect. Group holiday? New plates from the Rewards Store for family dinners? Or are you going to redeem your collective stack of points for Flybuys dollars to get money off your household shop?

Step 6

Once a new member has signed up to Flybuys via your link, you’ll receive a notification to verify that they’re a real person. Go ahead and verify. Then they’ll have access to collect and redeem points from your account.

Step 7

That’s it. Now watch your balance skyrocket and reap the rewards, together. 

Keep in mind

You can have up to nine members per account.
You can have a maximum of three pending invitation links at one time.

To add an additional cardholder to your Flybuys account, sign in to your Flybuys account and select ‘Account details’ from the drop-down menu. Click, ‘Add a new member'. Then simply:

1. Share your unique invitation link
2. Get your family or members in your household to join Flybuys via the link
3. Once they’ve joined and you’ve verified them, they’ll have access to collect and redeem points from your account.

Note: you can have a total of 9 members per account. This includes a maximum of 3 pending invitations.
